Dialysis

We have been systematically gathering information from medical camps since 2010. From our study we have come to know that kidney related disease have increased in our region due to the life style and usage of chemicals used in the agricultural section.

Considering the above fact, SIMS decided to start a dialysis center in our area. A modern dialysis centre with the capacity to handle up to 8 bed patients on haemodialysis at a time. Procedures like isolated Ultra filtration and Haemofiltration.

The Haemodialysis unit has 10 up-to- date machines with volumetric control system. Water for dialysis is available from a new modernized Ro plant. Only the latest biocompatible polysulfone membranes and bicarbonate dialystate are used, to make the dialysis smoother.

A patient suffering from kidney failure can survive only when he/ she undergoes dialysis, which emulates the functions of a normal kidney. It needs to be done 3 or 4 hrs times in a week which is costly and hence the association have devised sponsorship scheme to help such renal patients.
